Organisational background
PentaHact is responsible for providing care and support services to
over 180 people with learning disabilities including autism,
challenging Behaviour and with mental health problems. These services
are provided by over 380 staff through 17 residential homes, supported
housing projects, a Resource Centre along with learning disabilities
and mental health Outreach teams supporting people in their own homes.
PentaHact delivers services in the London Boroughs of Barnet,
Enfield, Haringey and Waltham Forest and in Hertfordshire and Essex.
PentaHact is an Approved Provider of Community Outreach services for
people with learning disabilities in Essex and the London Boroughs of
Haringey, Barnet, Waltham Forest and Hackney.
PentaHact's head office is at 1st floor, Britannia House, 960 High
Rd, North Finchley, London N12 9RY. Our Hertfordshire office is at
Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Centre, Station Rd, Bricket Wood, St
Albans, Herts AL2 3PJ
Following 12 months of discussion, PentaHact was formed on I May 2000
from the merger of Penta Housing Ltd (Penta) and the Hertfordshire
Autistic Community Trust (HACT). PentaHact is a registered charity and
company limited by guarantee.
